Pineapple plantations for exportation and local consumption are quite important in Northern Costa Rica. In Juanilama, some families produce the fruit in small and medium properties.
The tour by the producer himself can show the process of planting and harvesting, blending factors as history, morphology and good practices to get a top quality fruit. You probably have never taste a slice of pineapple as fresh as you can taste right next to the plant!
At the end of the tour, host offers a drink and snack based on pineapple.
